About Tristan
Tristan Koepke (he/him) is a dancer, educator, choreographer, and Rolfer® based in St. Paul, MN. His performance credits include repertory-based Zenon Dance Company, Chris Schlichting, Vanessa Anspaugh, elephantJANE dance, Doug Varone and Dancers, luciana achugar, Cally Spooner, BANDportier, Morgan Thorson, elephantJANE dance, Patrick Scully, ARENA Dances, Time Track Productions, Christina Robson Dance, the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, and The Minnesota Opera. His own choreographic works range from short movement investigations for the camera to fully-produced dance works for the stage. He holds a certificate in Rolfing® Structural Integration from the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute®, is a Board-Certified Structural Integrator™, and a member of the International Association of Structural Integrators. He is currently the Associate Director of the Young Dancers Workshop at the Bates Dance Festival, where he has worked since 2010, and is pursuing an MFA in Dance at the University of Maryland, College Park. Tristan is passionate about cultivating inclusive spaces that promote athletic rigor, rich creative inquiry, and holistic wellness.
